Maine Coon Cats


The skin on the back is thicker and becomes shorter towards the front. The tail and ears are thicker and furrier than other breeds of cats. These cats are one of the larger breeds and feet are disproportionately large for its size. Females typically weigh around nine to twelve pounds, while their male counterparts can reach anywhere thirteen to eighteen pounds. People generally commonly misinterpreted as their size is much larger than in reality due to thick coating.
Perhaps one of the most interesting features of the Maine Coon is the voice. The sounds they make it almost sounds like singing. It's really strange to hear a voice as sharp come from such a large breed of cat.
Maine Coons Personality
Maine Coon are really just big kids. They mature more slowly than other breeds of cats and youthful joy that never seem to grow out of. While cats are very sociable, observers are simply happy, happy to see their fellow humans, to participate in daily life activities and sometimes even try to help. They are territorial and generally seem to coexist well with other dogs and cats. Its soft joy peculiar forms make a great addition to any home with children. Many owners report that the Maine Coon can be trained quite easily, such as submitting to walk on a leash.
Care and Maintenance
While they are long-haired cats, their special coatings require only weekly brushing. Food can be left out, as they tend not to be a race to be eating to obesity, but they are heavy water drinkers and need a constant supply of clean, fresh water.
