10 Reasons to Adopt a Senior Dog

10 Reasons to Adopt a Senior Dog
4. Older dogs enjoy sleeping all day. They also enjoy regular walks, but the best part of the day is nap time. I can understand!

5. In shelters, older dogs are often the last to be adopted and the first to be sacrificed. Adopting an older dog technique saves two lives, as if releasing the shelter to help each other.

6. Older dogs fit your lifestyle and routine very quickly.

7. Rescuing an older dog who has a best friend for life, a special bond, and nothing compares to the love of a dog over their savior.

8. What you see is what you get: older dogs have developed their personalities, and are as big as going to get. Puppies can be totally different from what at first seems!

9. Older dogs let you get a restful sleep and, unlike puppies, usually do not need to eat late at night, comforting, or traveling outside.

I have adopted four dogs over now. I was almost 4 years, a very good quality, and only 5 short months with another. You never know how long it will get, and many people see this as something negative, I understand. But I'd rather see it as giving my dogs comfortable retirement they deserve. Yes, it is sad, very sad when they leave ... but all good dogs must go to heaven with his love of the man, right? There is a feeling of warmth, happy "well done" when we say goodbye to a dog that I saw you through.
