Socializing Your Puppy

Many homeowners recognize the value of socialization, but are not sure when to start and how to approach it. We can offer a number of helpful suggestions in the space below.

1 - Start As Soon As Possible

The sooner you allow your dog to meet others, the more quickly it will develop a natural comfort in his presence. This means that from their socialization, while he is a puppy. Ask friends and family to visit his home, and introduce your puppy. This teaches your pet that has nothing to fear from strangers.

2 - Let your puppy Explore your neighborhood

Once your puppy has had their shots, to take short walks around your house. Let them get used to the sights, sounds and smells of the neighborhood. Although it may seem hesitant at first, he is comfortable within a short period of time.This is also a good opportunity for him to meet other pets and their owners. They allow you to meet the other animals at their own pace. These interactions greatly influence their view of others.
